Post One Thousand !!

This post is a bit of a record for me, it is the 1000th post I have written here at BabyBoomer Librarian. My first post was on January 12, 2005 and was simply About Me. My first post of any substance was on February 16, 2005 on
Old vs. New Tech: false choices!. I wrote or posted 390 posts in my first year of blogging on Blogger. Previously I used BlogLines but I soon found that unsuitable. My busiest time for blogging was in 2006 when I wrote 390 posts. In 200, I wrote 197 posts and so far this year I have written 83. My tag cloud shows my current interests but still shows a large number of articles about Morrisville College Libraries. The biggest number is for Library 2.0. I have changed from posting news items and articles written by others to more of my own writing. I used to be concerned about how many people were visiting my blog but I no longer agonize and worry about that. Since I started using RSS feeds, it would be difficult to get any accurate figures. According to FeedBurner, over 500 people subscribe directly to my feed via FeedBurner. I am proud of that number.
