Who is blogging about CSE and Libraries?

I have been disappointed in the lack of posts from the most prolific library bloggers on the topic of Google Custom Search Engines.  In my own opinion it is the most important development at Google since Google went live.  Searching for the phrase "Google Custom Search " on LISZEN gets me 58 pages listed in the results.  The articles are not from many of the big names in library tech blogging.  Some you might recognize are David Rothman, OA Librarian, and Christina's LIS Rant.  I am disappointed that ALA Tech Source nor any of the people at Library Journal have not reported on it.  I can also think of several other bloggers that should be covering this but are not.

I guess I don't see the need for everyone to blog about it. It's certainly visible. Maybe the high-profile bloggers don't feel they have anything to add to what's already been said; that certainly keeps a midlist blogger like me from about 90% of possible posts. Redundancy just becomes annoying in the aggregator.

Well, Bill, your enthusiasm certainly got my curiosity going, so I decided to give it a try. Here's my first attempt: a prototype CSE covering the English-language journals in the DOAJ. The process was dead-simple -- I described it briefly here. I agree, Bill -- this is a Very Big Deal and I'm very interested to see how we librarians can push into new territory with this.
