Google Analytics

TwitThis

I finally received my invitation to enroll in Google Analytics yesterday.  I set up five sites in it for my blogs and websites.  I have already seen the one day statistics so far.  I am impressed with what I see.  Are any libraries using Google Analytics for their websites or blogs?  If so, how are you using them in your analysis?  I also use Performancing Metrics and Site Meter in my own blogs as well as the statistics provided by FeedBurner for use of the feeds.

You can visit Google Analytics and apply. There is probably a long waiting list.

One new feature of Google Analytics is that you can now set the local time zone.

Hi!
I'm a student doing an internship at LANIC.utexas.edu, where we just started using Google Analytics a week ago.

I'm wondering if anyone in the digital library world has come up with ways to interpret the data generated by Google Analytics, or better yet, performance benchmarks. For example, can we quantify what is an acceptable bounce rate for a library homepage? How do we determine that? I've looked at the NISO standards, but don't see anything that helps interpret this data.

Are you all using any standards or tools to interpret your data?

All ideas would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. we only waited one week for our invite.
